Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a skilled LPN for their client in Newark ,NJ location .

Job Type – Temp
Shift Hours- 8.30am to 4.30pm
Pay- 35-40/HR
Roles/Responsibilities -

  • Maintains examining room in proper order by assuring it is clean, neat and well equipped, clean medical/ surgical instruments and maintains supplies at par level.

  • Maintains laboratory to state standards, performs controls on equipment/s and document temperature (am/pm) for refrigerator(s) and freezer(s).

  • Assists physician in examination/s of patient if necessary and performs venipuncture, EKG’s and taking of vital signs (triage), administers immunizations and injections.

  • Ensures proper flow of patients into the exam room by checking in with front desk staff (Administrative Assistant) and surveying waiting room area.

  • Notifies Office Manager of problems, delays, and/or irregularities in the schedule.

  • Performs administrative tasks as needed, schedules appointments for patients. Answers phones and inquiries made by patients and/or other callers.

  • Performs patient health teaching and counseling either face to face or on the telephone.

  • Documents appropriately in patient's medical record.

  • Completes forms requiring pertinent medical data (school forms and immunization records).

  • Maintain medical records according to established policy and procedures, when needed.

  • Sterilize instruments and equipment, manages medical inventory and supply, Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications-

  • Candidates must possess a valid registration as Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey

  • Phlebotomy skill is a must need for the role.

  • Recent medical office experience and strong phlebotomy skills is required for the role.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
