Virtual School Psychologist Opening - Georgia - 2024-25 School Term

VocoVision is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our virtual team in Georgia for the 2024-25 school year. Don't miss out

School Psychologist Job Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology.
  • Active Georgia Psych license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
  • Experience providing virtual therapy services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fast/reliable computer & internet speed.

School Psychologist Role Overview:

Conduct In-Depth Assessments: Perform psychological and educational assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions.

Provide Counseling Services: Offer both individual and group counseling to address students' academic, social, and emotional issues. Support students in building coping skills and improving their overall well-being.

Collaborate with Educators and Families: Partner with teachers, school staff, and parents to create a nurturing and supportive educational environment. Provide guidance on effective classroom management, behavioral interventions, and strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.

Develop and Implement Programs: Create programs designed to promote mental health, prevent bullying, and address issues such as substance abuse. Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff, students, and parents on various psychological and educational topics.

Pay & Benefits:

  • 1099 Position
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours
  • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours ($40-47/hr depending on district budget/candidate experience)

Interview Process:

  • 10 - 15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter.
  • 20 - 30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District.
  • Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
