Special Education Teacher

Are you comitted toensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities, receive the individualized support and resources they need to succeed?ProCare Therapy is actively searching for an experienced and and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts located in the welcoming community of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.As Special Education Teacher in Pawtucket,you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities. You will develop individualized education programs (IEPs), deliver adaptive curriculum, and work closely with a team of specialists and support staff to ensure students reach their fullest potential.

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
  • Active State Teaching License
  • Active State Certification
  • Severe experience highlighted on resume
  • Proficient in Case Management
  • Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
