Are you a passionate and dedicated School Counselor seeking a rewarding opportunity to empower students of all ages to navigate academic, social-emotional, and career challenges?

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Counselor to join our team in the Sylvania, OH area This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students across the entire K-12 spectrum.

What You'll Do:

• Provide prehensive academic, social-emotional, and career counseling services to a diverse student population.
• Develop and implement individualized student support plans to promote academic success, social-emotional well-being, and college and career readiness for students across K-12 grade levels.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address a range of student needs, including:
  • Academic challenges and goal setting
  • Social-emotional learning (SEL) and coping skills development
  • Bullying prevention and conflict resolution
  • Career exploration and planning
  • Transition support between grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and munity partners to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Deliver classroom presentations and workshops on topics such as study skills, social-emotional learning, and career exploration.
• Analyze student data and track student progress to inform counseling interventions and program development.
• Advocate for the academic success, well-being, and diverse needs of all students.
• Stay current on best practices in school counseling through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Ohio School Counselor License.
• Prior experience working with students of all ages (K-12) in a school setting is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and the unique challenges faced by students across the K-12 spectrum.
• Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
• Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques.
• Strong data management and analysis skills.
• A mitment to equity and inclusion in the school environment.
• Passion for helping students of all ages navigate the K-12 experience, overe challenges, and achieve their full potential.
