Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our clinical oncology team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing orders, implementing therapy plans, educating patients, and collaborating closely with oncologists to provide exceptional care. You will also modify medication treatments as needed, create drug regimens, and oversee pharmacy technicians and students. Responsibilities
  • Process orders and requests for all drugs for patients.
  • Implement, create, and review therapy plans with the clinical oncology team.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, expectations, and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with oncologists to create and modify treatment plans.
  • Create drug regimens and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and students.
Essential Skills
  • Licensed Pharmacist (TSBP).
  • Oncology experience.
  • Clinical/Hospital experience.
  • 3 years of experience or 2 Residency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist Certification (BCOP) is a plus.
Work Environment

You will work in a hospital setting alongside two other clinical oncology pharmacists. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 8 AM and finishing around 5:30 PM each day. The team handles approximately 45-50 patients a day. The hospital has been voted #1 in Texas

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61.00 - $66.00
