Why Us?: The VocoVision team with Sunbelt Staffing is dedicated to providing inclusive and quality education to all students. We are seeking a talented and experienced Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to join our team and support our students with hearing impairments in their educational journey.

SLI Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating communication between students who use American Sign Language (ASL) and their peers, teachers, and other school staff during virtual sessions.
  • 1:1
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment for students with hearing impairments.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of interpreted sessions.
  • Start time 8:45-3:30

SLI Requirements:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of other communication modalities used by students with hearing impairments.
  • EIPA score 3.5or higher
