Special Education TeachingPosition

ProCare Therapy is actively searchingfor a passionateSpecial Education Teacher for the remainder of the school year. This position isa contract position that is located near the Gering, NEarea. Job Details:

  • Position Type: Full-time
    • Monday-Friday, 7:45am-3:55pm
  • Location: Onsite
  • Caseload: 9-12th grade, 20-25 students with 2 additional teachers on the team
    • Math foundations and support class for 9th grade, Push-in/Pull-out services
  • Start Date:01/06/25-05/23/25
  • Compensation: $36-37/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote student's educational, physical, and social development
  • Serve as a case manager for an assigned group of students

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in special education required
  • Valid Teaching License in Nebraskawith special education endorsement required
  • Trauma Informed Care background preferred
  • 9-12 special education licensure in Nebraska required
