We are on the hunt for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Union City, California. As a Sr. Accountant, your main role will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and tackle customer inquiries. In addition, you will have the responsibility to oversee customer accounts and implement appropriate actions.



  • Lead and manage the month-end close process efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for decision-making.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts; manage cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Analyze financial data for discrepancies and variances.
  • Analyze financial variances and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand and communicate key drivers.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation.
  • Improve and streamline inventory control procedures for efficiency.
  • Prepare accurate financial performance reports for investors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide required information.
  • Manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Ensure HR compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Utilize Sage accounting software for operational efficiency (preferred experience).
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial operations.
  • Maintain internal controls to minimize risks.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, results-driven approach and desire for success.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities and foster a positive work environment.


Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage experience a plus).

Abilities: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Work Style: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
