Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire Position
Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (for 10-hour shifts) – flexible scheduling options available.

Position Overview:

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Speech Language Pathologist in a role that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatrics, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. As an SLP, you will be performing evaluations and providing skilled treatments to individuals with various speech, language, and communication disorders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy to patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for patient progress.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage with the community through outreach and participate in charitable events.

Qualifications:

  • License: Must hold an active Speech Language Pathology License in West Virginia.
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Experience: Open to new graduates; salary is commensurate with experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in computer skills for data entry and word processing is also required.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week; flexible scheduling options available.
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays; weekends as needed (to be discussed during the interview).
  • Pay: Salaried position with a 2-3 year contract. Starting salary is $75,000 for those with 0-5 years of experience, with a maximum of $100,000 for those with 10+ years of experience. Salary increases will be negotiated with each new contract.
