Job Description
As a Production Packer, you will work on the production line, weighing and packaging wax in appropriate packaging. You will perform tasks efficiently, minimizing wasted time and materials. You will work in an FDA-regulated facility with clean room standards, requiring gloves, hair nets, eye protection, and lab coats or smocks.
Responsibilities- Weigh wax and package in appropriate packaging
- Perform tasks efficiently with minimal wasted time or materials
- Hand load appropriate raw materials for the next wax load according to the schedule
- Ensure completed assignments comply with predetermined quality standards
- Perform quality control testing
- Follow work instructions and workflow diagrams
- Continually improve skills and product knowledge
- Ensure workflow is continuous
- Perform ad hoc tasks as directed by the Team Leader or Department Supervisor
- 6+ months of production experience
- Ability to lift 10 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Experience working with chemicals
- Experience in labeling and assisting with shipping duties
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- No high school diploma required

Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a very clean GMP facility that is climate-controlled during both summer and winter. The facility includes offices and a production floor. You will work in the warehouse where products are stored. The work environment is an FDA-regulated clean room, requiring gloves, hair nets, eye protection, and lab coats or smocks. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, long pants, and a t-shirt. The 1st shift hours are from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, and the 2nd shift hours are from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. There is a weekend shift that involves filling bulk orders. The work can be repetitive, involving tasks like filling bags with wax pellets, weighing, packing, and sealing them.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
