Full-Time Paraeducator Opportunity in Joliet, IL for the 2024-2025 School Year

ProCare Therapy is partnering with the SOWIC Learning Center in Joliet, IL, to offer a full-time Paraeducator position for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a dedicated team and provide essential support to students in a specialized program focused on communication and adaptive behavior.

  • Stability & Consistency: Enjoy a full-time schedule with hours from 7:35 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., offering stability throughout the school year.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Hands-On Support: Assist students from early childhood through 8th grade, ensuring they have the support needed for academic and behavioral success.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work with district BCBAs to implement individualized behavior plans that positively impact students.
  • Program Focus: Join the Communication & Adaptive Behavior Program, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a paraeducator or working with students is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation to and from the SOWIC Learning Center at 1205 N Larkin Ave, Joliet, IL

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour, depending on experience
