Job Description:
As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your role will involve working directly with clients to promote skill acquisition, improve social interactions, and reduce challenging behaviors through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Assist in developing and refining behavior intervention strategies.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment to encourage client growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members about client progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred).
- Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
