Job Title: Travel X-Ray Technologist III - Day Shift

Location: Lafayette, CO

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Day Shift

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel X-Ray Technologist III for a 13-week contract position in Lafayette, CO. This day shift role, with 12-hour shifts, offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced X-Ray Technologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform as a plain film radiographer and work independently in one other specialized Medical Imaging area (ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, mammography, bone density, or MRI).
  • Operate Radiologic equipment and prepare supplies, equipment, and contrast for the patient.
  • Perform general office duties including scheduling of patients and record keeping.
  • Work under the occasional supervision of the Medical Imaging Supervisor, Lead Technologist, and the Medical Imaging Director.
  • Be scheduled for "on call" duties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with core competencies: Pain Management, Falls, Age Specific, Compliance, and computerized annual required education (HealthStream).

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification.
  • Valid Colorado state license in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Expertise in at least one specialized Medical Imaging area (ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, mammography, bone density, or MRI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Strong understanding of radiology safety protocols.
  • Excellent technical skills in operating Radiologic equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly with trauma patients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a radiology setting.
  • Willingness to take call as required.
  • Ability to travel to and from assignments.

Pay Range:

  • $1700-1900 weekly, dependent on experience.
