Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is for the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed, including weekends. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and be able to contribute immediately to our production needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks.
  • Read, interpret, and execute instructions and diagrams for precise assembly of equipment and products.
  • Construct and test wire harness connections.
  • Use various hand tools and fixtures proficiently.
  • Conduct quality spot checks on products to maintain adherence to specified standards.
  • Report any product inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
  • Rework or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Experience with crimping and stripping 22-24 AWG wires.
  • Inserting contacts.
  • Soldering at an electronics level, preferably with experience in J-STD-001 standards.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for electronic assemblies and wire harnesses.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics or assembly drawings.
  • Experience using specific tools relevant to our production processes (e.g., crimping tools, soldering irons, testing equipment).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Soldering or previous IPC certifications are ideal.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
