Job DescriptionJob Description

Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for an Automation Technician to join a well-known, growing manufacturing company in Bettendorf, IA You will be responsible for the design, programming, assembly, installation, and support of automation projects. Must have an automation and mechanical hands-on background.

Shift/Schedule: 3-2-2 rotating

Hours: 7pm-7am

Pay: $35-40 per hour

Type of employment: Direct Hire / Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create and improve automated systems and processes
  • Support the installation of both mechanical and controls upgrades
  • Conduct cost-analysis to determine advantages of system improvements
  • Research and implement new machinery and controls
  • Coordinate with specialist departments on the mechanical design of smart devices
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechatronics engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with intelligent and industrial systems
  • Familiarity with PLC Programming of HMIs
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

Additional Skills:

  • Robotic experience
  • Vision System experience
  • Pneumatics experience
  • Servo experience
