SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Self Contained Classroom
2024-2025 School Year |Full-Time Employment Opportunity
$32+/hour | Benefits | Weekly Paychecks | Contract Work

ProCare Therapy is hiring certified special education teachers in San Antonio, Texas. The position is for teachers that have the necessary credentialling through the Texas Department of Education to teach in a self-contained setting.

There are multiple positions available. Qualifications, location, and candidate preferences indicated in the interview will all be considered when placing at a school location.

Job Type:

  • 2024-2025 School Year, Start ASAP
  • Full-Time employment opportunity
    • Monday-Friday
    • 7:30-3:30am
  • Self-contained setting
  • Middle School and High School placements available
  • Teacher will manage a caseload of students with disabilities to ensure they are receiving the needed supports outlined in their IEP.
  • Collaboration with the IEP team is key to ensure students goals are being met.
  • Communication with the family is expected in order to maintain positive relationships and foster a safe learning environment.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsor Master's Degree in Special Education ORa degree specific to teaching students with Special Needs.
  • Special Education Teaching Certification AND Self-Contained certification in the state of Texas
  • Previous experience in school setting is preferred.
