Desktop Support Analyst

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in based in HARVEY, Illinois. This role primarily involves providing technical support to end-users, maintaining computer systems and equipment, and acting as the point of contact for all Information Technology issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical assistance to users, helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, data, and equipment.
• Act as the first point of contact for all Information Technology issues.
• Ensure swift resolution of complaints and problems.
• Offer IT support to external users via phone and remote assistance.
• Follow up to ensure users have received their machines back after service.
• Perform tasks related to laptop management, including packaging, reimaging, and refreshing.
• Assist in system administration tasks as needed.
• Maintain coordination and follow-up on customer problems.
• Utilize Active Directory skills for various tasks.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar.
• Proficiency in Active Directory.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, server hardware, and setup.
• Familiarity with operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to approach issues methodically.
• Must possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
