Sr. Accountant

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will be handling various accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and creating financial reports. You will be working in a dynamic environment and will be a key contributor to our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording financial transactions in the general ledger

• Reconciliation of all entries into the accounting system

• Ensuring the accuracy of transactions through account reconciliation

• Regular maintenance and updating of the general ledger

• Preparing and processing payroll for employees

• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conducting daily postings of deposits and check issuance

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Carrying out month-end close procedures

• Creating comprehensive financial reports

• Conducting some collection duties as required

• Maintenance of the trial balance by reconciliation of general ledgers.

• Candidate must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required.

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Deep understanding of General Ledger management is necessary.

• Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is crucial.

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a plus.

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software is a plus.
