RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Pharmacy to lead a thriving Specialty Pharmacy in Indianapolis, Indiana. This leadership role is perfect for a dedicated professional with a strong background in specialty pharmacy management and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all daily operations of the specialty pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Lead and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best patient outcomes through tailored medication management.
  • Ensure compliance with URAC, ACHC, or other relevant accreditation standards.
  • Manage inventory and budgeting, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining excellent patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance programs and ensure adherence to specialty pharmacy best practices.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday:8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Indiana pharmacist license and in good standing.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in mail order pharmacy operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as required.
