Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - 24/25 School Year - Norman, OK

Position Details:

  • Job Type:Full-time
  • Start Date:As Soon As Possible
  • End Date:June 2025
  • Caseload: Discussed in interview with school district
  • Compensation: Starting at $35 an hour but can be negotiated

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to support students with speech and language disorders.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed to enhance communication skills.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to address their individual needs.
  • Assist in tracking and documenting student progress.
  • Maintain open communication with school staff, parents, and caregivers.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or relevant field.
  • OklahomaSLPA licensure or eligibility.
  • Active OKClearance
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
