Job Description

This position assembles, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. The position determines equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble machines according to drawings and best industry practices.
  • Layout back panels and wire machines.
  • Perform sub-assembly and final machine inspections.
  • Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed.
  • Provide documentation of changes made to machines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems that are encountered during the manufacturing process.
  • Redline prints as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with assembling custom or automated equipment
  • Ability to read pneumatic prints and understand pneumatic theory.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical (ladder prints) and mechanical blueprints and machine layouts.
  • Willingness to travel outside the local area and overnight a few times a year
