School Psychologist Needed for the 2024/2025 School Year in Orange, NJ

Location: Orange, NJ
Employment Dates: Start ASAP - June 27, 2025
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Tentative Work Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:05 PM or 3:30 PM
Caseload: K-12 students
Pay: $52 - $58/hour depending on experience
Number of Openings: 1

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Orange. This role is essential in supporting the mental health and educational needs of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and evaluations for students.
• Provide case management services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student well-being and academic success.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
• Support crisis intervention and contribute to creating a positive school environment.

Qualifications:

• Autism experience required.
• Case management experience required.
• Strong school-based experience is essential.
• Valid and active license/certifications in New Jersey.
• Proven experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Masters degree in School Psychology preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
