As an OT, you will play a critical role in delivering individualized occupational therapy services to students, promoting their growth and success within an educational environment.

Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Greensboro, NC

Job Type:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Start Date: Next School Year
  • End Date: End of School Year

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Customized Support:

  • Provide one-on-one and group occupational therapy sessions to students, ensuring personalized attention and support.

Develop and Implement Therapy Plans:

  • Create and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities, supporting each student's unique needs.

Collaborate with Education Teams:

  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive and effective therapy interventions, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for students.

Maintain Accurate Records:

  • Keep detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous assessment of therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

OT Certification:

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is required, with a valid state license to practice in North Carolina.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children with special needs in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential.
