Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Meridian, Idaho
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 2025
Hours per Week: 35 hours
Caseload: Elementary (specific number of students will be shared upon hiring)
Itinerant Position: Yes, travel time is paid (mileage compensation may apply)
Compensation: Paid for all hours worked within contracted timeframe, including admin and team meetings.

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position is available immediately and runs through June 2025. The ideal candidate will work with an elementary school caseload, overseeing assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy services. Additionally, the therapist will attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff to support student success. This itinerant position will require travel between schools within the district, with paid travel time.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for elementary school students.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district (travel time paid).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure and certification (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
  • Willingness to travel between schools within the district.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
