Position Overview: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team in Olivehurst, CA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact by providing high-quality education, support, and advocacy for students with special needs. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each student.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging, confidence, and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and families, to ensure holistic support and continuity of care.
  • Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, assistive technologies, and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment, data analysis, and regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, encouragement, and support to students, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and stay abreast of best practices in special education to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid California Teaching Credential with Special Education endorsement.
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
  • Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individualized needs of students and differentiate instruction effectively.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development.
