Job Posting: Onsite School Social Worker

Location: Circle Pines, MN
Contract Duration: ASAP - June 6, 2025
Work Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Days: Monday - Friday

About Us:
Soliant Education is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for all students. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.

Position Overview:
The School Social Worker will work directly with students to provide support in social and emotional skills, delivering IEP service minutes. There are 4 current openings, including 2 Elementary schools, 1 Secondary school, and 1 RTLC.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct IEP services to students as outlined in their individual education plans.
  • Teach social and emotional skills to help students develop coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments and provide intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school and district policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs.
  • Support students in crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Valid Licensed Social Worker credential with the Minnesota Department of Education.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
