Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our manufacturing facility. The Plant Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role will work closely with plant management to support strategic decision-making and improve overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying trends and variances.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop operational budgets and monitor expenditures.

Cost Control and Analysis:

  • Monitor manufacturing costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis to support pricing strategies and profitability improvements.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

Operational Support:

  • Partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making in production, inventory management, and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a financial management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
