Compensation: OTE up to $75,000 (DOE)
Benefits: 3 Weeks paid time off with additional flex time available.
Work Arrangement: In person during tax season and Hybrid (Combination of remote and on-site work at our Lewisville office) the rest of the year.

Westdyk CPA is a growing CPA firm in Lewisville, Texas, dedicated to delivering top-tier accounting and financial services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper and Office Administrator to join our team immediately and take on a versatile role supporting both our clients and internal operations.
Position Overview:
This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of bookkeeping and office administration. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage administrative tasks, handle bookkeeping and payroll duties, and contribute to the seamless operation of our growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Analyze balance sheets and income statements to identify and resolve errors.
- Perform general ledger reviews to correct account coding mistakes and get books tax ready.
- Handle 1099, 941, 940, TWC, and W2 processing, including tax payments and compliance with timing requirements.
- Assist with payroll processing and client-specific bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee office administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and supporting staff as needed.
- Support clients in resolving bookkeeping and reconciliation issues.
- Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy for all bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare individual and business taxes (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S); PTIN or EA certification preferred.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in bookkeeping and office administration within a CPA firm.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, with the ability to post journal entries and clean up client books.
- Expertise in reviewing and correcting balance sheets, income statements, and reconciliations.
- Experience with tax forms (1099, 941, 940, W2), payroll processing, and tax payment scheduling.
- Ability to handle individual and business tax preparation, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S filings.
- PTIN or EA certification preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Construction accounting experience, including lien filing and certified payroll, is a plus.
