Job Details
  • Role:Pharmacist-in-Charge
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Flexible; pharmacy operates Monday - Saturday. As the PIC, youll have the flexibility to set your own schedule
  • Pay: $72.00 - $76.97 (Union position; salary based on experience)
    • Bonus Potential: Up to an additional $16k/year in quarterly performance bonuses
    • Relocation Bonus: Available
Responsibilities:

  • Manage Pharmacy Operations:

    • Oversee daily functions to meet business goals while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient inventory management.
    • Ensure pliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Lead Staff Management:

    • Participate in hiring and training of pharmacists and technicians.
    • Conduct ongoing evaluations and support the professional development of the pharmacy team.

  • Oversee Pharmacy Care Program:

    • Provide immunizations, injections, and testing.
    • Monitor patient outes to ensure optimal therapeutic results and minimize adverse effects.
    • Offer professional consultations to patients regarding their medication therapies.

  • Enhance Collaboration and munication:

    • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement programs that increase sales and prescription volume.
    • Regularly update the Pharmacy Supervisor and Store Director on pharmacy operations.
    • Foster positive munication between pharmacy staff and store personnel to boost morale and align with pany objectives.

  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service:

    • Lead by example in providing exceptional service to customers.
    • Ensure efficient prescription processing and oversee sales strategies.
Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD) required.
    • Must hold a valid pharmacist license in the state of California.

  • Knowledge & Skills:

    • Familiarity with OTC drug laws, pharmacy policies, and third-party plans.
    • High initiative, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
    • Strong customer relations skills and excellent verbal and written munication abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word).
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and build strong relationships.
