Contract Position: ASAP - 12/23/24 w/ potential for extension or conversion but NO guarantee.

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Temp Pay: $60.00 - $65.00/hr - based on experience

MUST be in the Peabody, MA area and willing o commute in office.
 
Job description:

  • Duties:

    • Drive monthly financial close process ensuring accurate financial results and requirements are complete, reviewed and analyzed within corporate and division timelines.

    • Develop and review General Ledger account reconciliations

    • Perform monthly/quarterly SOX testing and upkeep of required documentation in the Corporate SOX database.

    • Assist with audit and compliance activities as assigned

    • Develop and manage cost management systems and policies

    • Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget with a focus on manufacturing cost and working capital?

  • Role Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - CPA or CMA certification is an added advantage

    • 8+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing and equipment/engineering environment

    • Proven experience working at a public company

    • Strong knowledge of inventory cycle counts and cost accounting

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias to action and delivering results

    • Detail oriented, organized and a demonstrated focus on process improvement and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently

    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ownership mentality

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel required.

    • Experience with Power BI, Dynamics AX and Visual is an advantage

  • Experience w an ERP system

  • Strong reporting ana analytics skills
     
     



Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
