Position: Intervention Specialist
Location: Near Midvale, Ohio

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a skilled professional who can assess student achievement, manage behavior, and collaborate effectively with other staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Assess student achievement
• Plan and implement instructional and learning strategies and activities
• Manage the behavior of students in the instructional setting to ensure the environment is conducive to the learning process
• Coordinate instructional activities with other staff
• Communicate with parents
• Communicate with students on instructional expectations
• Maintain progress reports
• Maintain assessment and evaluation documentation

Qualifications:

• OH Intervention Specialist License required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
