Exciting Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Harker Heights, TX

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in Harker Heights, TX? We have a full-time position available for the 2024-2025 school year, where you'll provide essential speech and language services in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Harker Heights, TX
Hours: 37.5 - 40 hours per week
School Year: 2024-2025
Caseload: K-12th grade itinerant openings

Role Overview:

  • Position: Full-time role with itinerant responsibilities across multiple school sites.
  • Caseload: Work with students from K-12, with a focus on providing individualized therapy.
  • Focus: Enhance students' speech and language skills through targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students.
  • Assessment & Planning: Conduct assessments and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into students' educational experience.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Relevant Texas State licensure as an SLP.
  • Experience: Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or CCC-SLPs are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all ages.
