Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Athens, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Athens, TX. In this full-time role, you will work with clients of all ages to support their recovery, development, and independence in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Evaluation: Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans to achieve their goals.
  • Therapy Implementation: Deliver direct therapy services, either as an OT or under the supervision of an OT as a COTA.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and required documentation to meet pliance standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure prehensive care for each client.
  • Education: Provide guidance and support to clients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and foster independence.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • OT: Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • COTA: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure:
    • OT: Current Texas Occupational Therapy license.
    • COTA: Current Texas COTA license.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent munication, interpersonal skills, and a strong mitment to delivering high-quality care.
