POSITION OPPORTUNITY
The Maintenance and Facilities Technician supports the facility through effective maintenance and stewardship of equipment and repair assets.The Maintenance and Facilities Technician is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of grounds, building, and equipment.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Effectively perform preventive and corrective maintenance to all equipment
- Collaborate with janitorial, lawncare, and other contract services to ensure highest standards of appearance
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness efforts throughout the facility
- Participation in specification, selection, installation and validation of new process equipment
- Participation in capital purchasing/improvement projects
- Provides training and coaching to other team members on maintenance and equipment usage practices and procedures
- Provide information to support maintenance KPI’s
- Comply with the Preventative Maintenance program
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Secondary certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or other maintenance disciplines highly desired.
Related Experience: At least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance required; additional experience preferred.
