Job Description

The individual will be responsible for unloading trucks by hand and sorting products according to location. Duties include de-palletizing pallets, breaking down and separating materials based on location, and using a pallet jack to place items in designated storage spots in the warehouse. Additionally, the role requires some morning clean-up after loaders, checking temperatures of products to ensure proper storage, and handling food items to prevent spoilage. Tasks also involve moving in and out of cold storage to stock and pull items, palletizing for forklift movement, and shrink-wrapping and attaching expiration date labels.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks by hand and sort products according to location.
• De-palletize pallets and break down materials based on location.
• Utilize pallet jack to place items in designated storage spots.
• Perform morning clean-up after loaders.
• Check temperatures of products to ensure accurate storage.
• Handle food items to prevent spoilage.
• Move in and out of cold storage to stock and pull items.
• Palletize products for forklift movement.
• Shrink-wrap and attach expiration date labels.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse environment unloading containers.
• Motivation, hard work, and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Skills in warehouse tasks such as unloading, picking, pallet breakdown, plastic wrapping, loading, heavy lifting, forklift operation, packing, packaging, RF scanning, material handling, order picking, and palletizing.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse with both dry and freezer areas, similar to a smaller-scale Costco setup. Steel-toed boots are required.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
