Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Science Teacher to join a vibrant educational munity in Bloomfield, CT. This position is contracted through Soliant Education and offers a unique opportunity to teach studentsacross various science disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state and national science standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and scientific inquiry.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary projects.
  • Maintain open munication with students, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive educational environment.
  • Stay updated on best practices in science education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Science
  • Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with diverse learning styles and differentiated instruction is a plus.
