Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, data collection, and equipment maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process laboratory samples according to established protocols.
  • Conduct routine tests and experiments under the supervision of expert lab staff.
  • Record and analyze data accurately and maintain detailed lab notebooks.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working order.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations based on experimental results.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous laboratory experience, including internships or academic lab work.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
