Title: Certified Medical Assistant - MA
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient - Urology
Location: Shawnee, KS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 7:30AM-5PM (exact start time depends on patient schedule)
Pay: Based on experience plus full benefits

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for direct patient care. Duties to include but not limited to:

-Rooming patients
-Obtaining vitals and medical histories
-Assisting physician during exams
-Lab work and blood draws
-Patient education
-Maintain exam rooms and instrument sterilization
-Returning patient calls on behalf of the physicians
-Assist the admin staff as needed such as: scheduling, performing prior authorizations, etc.
-Clinical documentation into electronic medical record systems

REQUIREMENTS:
-MUST hold a national certification / registered Medical Assistant
-At least two years of recent MA experience, highly preferred in an outpatient office setting
-Must be willing to perform blood draws / phlebotomy
-Stable work history / tenure
-Seeking a highly professional, personable, and reliable individual
