Details:
Pay Range: $42+/hr (depending on experience)
- Onsite Assignment nearAttleboro, MA
- Leave Position
- Full time
- ASAP Start - 11/1/24
- Preschool caseload
- Initial evaluations, report writing, attendance at team meetings, writing of goals and objectives, partial supervision of a COTA
- General OT duties
- 1 or multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
- More details to be discussed during zoom interview process
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor, sensory, perceptual, and functional abilities to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to ensure the delivery of coordinated services and support for students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide written reports and progress updates as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children with disabilities in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
