School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Independence, ORPosition Overview:

Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year contract in Independence, Oregon. This role spans K-12, offering prehensive support and speech therapy services to a diverse range of students. Ideal candidates are mitted to improving student munication abilities and academic success within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Implement and manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language therapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
  • Provide consultations and advice on speech and language development.
  • Participate in professional development to stay updated with the latest in speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or closely related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering engaging and effective interactions.
