HVAC Mechanic

PDS Tech is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team in El Segundo, CA You will ensure the efficient operation of critical HVAC equipment used in our top-of-the-line Aerospace facility.
Job Title: HVAC Mechanic
Job Type: Full time; Contract (12 months)
Location: El Segundo, CA 90245
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 9x80
Pay Rate: 21/hr. -26.46/hr.
Due to government regulations, this position is only open to U.S. Citizens.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, service, modify, rebuild, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including centrifugal compressors, electrical controls, evaporative condensers, pumps, fans, and heating equipment.
Perform regular inspections to identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
Conduct maintenance programs to prevent system failures and ensure optimal performance.
Charge air-conditioning systems with refrigerant and check for leaks, ensuring systems are leak-free.
Set and adjust controls, regulators, and other HVAC components.
Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork to meet system specifications.
Overhaul HVAC equipment and ensure it meets operational standards.
Service, modify, and maintain centralized HVAC computer systems, making program corrections when necessary.
Install and maintain high-technology clean room environments as required.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Pay Details: 21.00 to 26.46 per hour
