We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and compassionate Personal Injury Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling personal injury claims, including pre-litigation, litigation, and trial work. This position offers an opportunity to manage cases from start to finish while advocating for clients who have suffered injuries due to accidents, negligence, or other incidents.

The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in a variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and workplace injuries. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases in court.

Job Details



Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial client consultation to settlement or trial, ensuring efficient case progression.

Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their personal injury claims, explain their legal rights, and provide legal counsel regarding their options.

Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on personal injury law, case precedents, and statutes to support case strategies.

Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands.

Negotiations: Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties to secure favorable outcomes for clients.

Litigation and Trial: Represent clients in court, including appearing at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Develop case strategies and present evidence to support client claims.

Settlement and Mediation: Manage and facilitate settlement negotiations and mediations to achieve fair compensation for clients without the need for a trial, when possible.

Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and ensuring clients are informed and involved throughout the process.

Collaboration: Work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, medical experts, and investigators to build strong cases.

Billing and Documentation: Ensure accurate billing for time spent on cases and maintain organized, up-to-date case files.

Qualifications:
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

License: Licensed to practice law in [State] and in good standing with the state bar association.

Experience: A minimum of [3-5] years of experience handling personal injury cases, including litigation and trial experience.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, and relevant state and federal statutes.

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Empathy and a client-focused approach to providing legal representation.
Certifications: Board certification in personal injury law or similar credentials are a plus.
