Position Overview:

  • Position: Physical Therapist
  • Contract Duration: Full 2024-2025 School Year
  • Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time
  • Caseload: K-12, with a focus on K-8

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students across multiple school sites.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students physical development goals.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students functional abilities and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations to improve student participation and mobility.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in Washington
  • Preferred experience working with school-aged children, particularly K-8
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and provide services across multiple school locations
