Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage weekly invoices and monthly credit card expenses.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in workers' compensation audits.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in reporting, including month-end reports, variance reports, and budget reports.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Help in preparing tax an year-end data for CPAs.
• Perform general ledger tasks, including accruals and journal entries.
• Assist in financial analysis and update spreadsheets and projections.
• Learn and provide backup support for the CFO's role.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Staff Accountant role, Bookkeeping or a similar position in the Accounting field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Skilled in maintaining and managing the General Ledger.
• Excellent Excel with a strong focus on details and accuracy.
• QuickBooks experience is a huge plus
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
