Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Heat Treat Helper in our Rancho Cucamonga Operations. This position is a key member of the Heat Treat team and requires traveling to different sites within California. Our company is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, forged rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted super alloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts.

Responsibilities

• Move parts on and off pallets.
• Read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications, and other written and verbal instructions.
• Load and unload furnaces.
• Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified periods.
• Learn to perform hardness inspections and read conversion tables (ASTM E140).
• Prepare load couples.
• Grind parts.
• Understand and follow company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain a safe and organized workstation and follow all company policies, safety, and procedures.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum six to twelve months of related experience and/or training.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience.
• Experience as a tooling helper, organizing, cleaning, and grinding tools.
• Comfortable working in a hot production environment.
• Must have a passport, birth certificate, or permanent resident card.
• Must complete an Export Controls Questionnaire.

Work Environment

Production environment with work inside the department and outside. 3rd Shift - 5pm - 5:30am. The environment may be hot and requires collaboration with the Maintenance team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
