Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting / Payroll Specialist to join our clients team in Taylors, SC. This key position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll processes, overseeing residential installation administration, coordinating fleet management, and handling billing and payment tasks. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our clients operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record daily financial transactions to maintain up-to-date organizational financial data.
- Compile, calculate, and input data to manage payroll processes effectively.
- Ensure precision in commission calculations for bi-weekly payroll.
- Update and maintain payroll records, including employee information and benefits adjustments.
- Track employee vacation balances, ensuring accurate recording of hours earned, taken, and remaining.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, providing timely responses to employee inquiries.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures in all payroll operations.
- Handle administrative tasks related to residential installations, including paperwork processing.
- Maintain and update customer and job information in FieldEdge, issue invoices, and process received payments.
- Review and approve invoices for equipment and material purchases for residential projects.
- Assist with registering warranties, coordinating permits, inspections, and testing.
- Oversee fleet management by updating vehicle logs, maintenance records, registrations, and processing property tax payments.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of a 2-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience; at least 2 years of practical accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
- Proven ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage financial records.
- Proficient data entry skills with a strong numerical aptitude.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary financial software.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and FieldEdge is a plus.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a positive, professional attitude.
- High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
