School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Type:Full-time Contract Position, 37.5 hours per week

Assignment Dates: ASAP - June 19, 2025

Our mitted team of educators and specialists work together to ensure that all students receive the resources and support they need to succeed. We are currently working with a great school district near Nashua that is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active New Hampshire SLPlicensure.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with munication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Monitor and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
  • Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's munication development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
