Job DescriptionJob Description

We're seeking a 2nd shift Equipment Mechanic with hands-on experience in the plastics industry or similar fields. This role involves working with various equipment and electronics, including motors, drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

**Injection Molding experience a plus**

Hours - 2:00pm-10:00pm 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain molding equipment.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for new equipment installations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Enforce and support facility safety systems.
  • Monitor and support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
  • Conduct annual employee performance reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in injection molding industry maintenance or maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with motors, drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Direct involvement with Preventative Maintenance programs (CMMS).
  • Experience with safety systems related to maintenance supervision, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
