We are offering a part-time, long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Westport, CT. This role plays a pivotal part in financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records while providing valuable support to our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be actively involved in tasks such as maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and providing assistance with invoicing.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and maintain financial documents and records

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Assist with invoicing tasks as needed, providing valuable support to the team

• Provide support and answer queries related to pricing and other financial matters

• Collaborate with external CPA as required, ensuring smooth financial operations

• Utilize QuickBooks for various financial tasks and operations

• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and data management.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge of Bookkeeping practices
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
