Job Requirements
- Master'sor Doctorate Level Degreein School Psychology
- Active License inCalifornia
- Prior experience is preferred
Job Description
- Full-Time
- Responsibilities
- Providing psychological assessments (preferably knowledge of personality/projective assessments)
Writing reports & effectively presenting information, test results, & recommendations at meetings in a manner easily understood by the team (including family) & when appropriate, the student
Liaison to students' outside psychologists and psychiatrists
Provide individual & small group therapy
Provide crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment
Evaluate the progress of therapeutic programs and make individual modifications
Assess mental status (including suicidality) in students and develop plans based upon findings
Write IEP goals, benchmarks, and progress reports for the psychological aspects of the students' IEPs
Continue to keep up with professional development for current trends in the field
